Servicing, maintenance & deep cleans

At least annually for homes; bi-annually/quarterly for commercial or heavy use. Regular servicing preserves efficiency and warranty conditions.

Filter clean/replace, outdoor coil clean, refrigerant and temperature checks, drain and fan inspection, mode changeover check, and a report with any repair quotes.

Yes—Premium Deep Clean targets internal coils and components for improved hygiene, airflow and efficiency.

Clean or replace the return filter and reset the alert. If it persists—or it’s been 12+ months—book a service.

Troubleshooting & quick fixes

  • Power-cycle at the isolator for 30 minutes and restart.

  • Set mode correctly (Cool/Heat), Fan: Auto, doors/windows closed.

  • Clean indoor filters.

  • Retrieve error codes (remote/wall controller). Share the code when booking so we bring the right parts.

Turn the system off; likely a blocked drain. Book a service to prevent damage.

Use the remote’s error check function. For ducted/MyAir, check the wall tablet or call us for guidance.

Energy efficiency & running costs

Aim for 22–24 °C in summer and 20–22 °C in winter. Each degree beyond can add ~5–10% to energy use.

Start early, use zoning, close blinds, seal obvious gaps, keep filters and outdoor coils clean, and schedule routine servicing.

Repairs vs replacement

If the unit is older, inefficient, out of warranty, or needs major parts (e.g., compressor/PCB), a new Daikin can be cheaper long-term. We’ll quote repair and replace side-by-side so you can compare.

Commercial & builders

Yes—design input, installation, commissioning and documentation for offices, retail, hospitality and multi-residential. We coordinate with site programs and other trades.
