The Cool Shop, one of the Sunshine Coast’s fastest growing Air Conditioning businesses is seeking a Fully Qualified Air Conditioning Mechanic and an Electrician with a Cert 2.

Refrigeration Mechanic:

To qualify for this role you will need these preferred qualifications and skills:

• Air conditioning & Refrigeration mechanic Trade qualifications. (cert 3)
• Arctick Licence, Qld Restricted Electrical Licence, Manual Drivers Licence & Blue/White card.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Commitment to OH&S procedures.
• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
• VRV install experience.
• Commercial Experience
• Great work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Experience in Wall mounted and Ducted installations
• Be able to interpret and work with plans
• Be able to work flexible hours when called for.

Electrician with Cert 2:

The Cool Shop is seeking a Trade Qualified Electrician with a Cert 2 in Air Conditioning to assist with the installation of residential air conditioning systems on the Sunshine Coast for IMMEDIATE start.

CERT 2 IN AIR CON ESSENTIAL.

To be considered for this role you must meet the following the criteria:

• Current Full QLD Electrical licence
• Current QLD Manual Drivers Licence
• Certificate 2 in Split System Installation essential
• Experience in Air Conditioning installation essential
• Excellent attention to detail
• Commitment to OH&S procedures
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Great work ethic and positive attitude
• Own tools

Some commercial and domestic installations of Air conditioning systems involved, connecting to main power boards, installing control systems, VRV systems, ducting and split air cons, basement ventilation control systems.

We are a small but highly successful team, specializing in Air Conditioning installations all over the Sunshine Coast.

This will be a full time role. Monday to Friday and overtime when applicable (usually only in the summer)

In return for the tradies, The Cool Shop will provide a company vehicle and company fuel card, uniforms, overtime rates and above award wages. Wages are negotiable based on experience. Other remunerations to be discussed and negotiated upon role acceptance. The successful applicant will be provided with a mobile allowance after probation period.
